Jude Ndambuki

When Jude Ndambuki was a child in Kenya, he timed the moonlight so he could study after dark. There was no electricity and his family couldn’t always afford oil for their lamp. Jude wasn’t discouraged. He had a talent for always seeing the positive parts of life and making them grow. He worked through school, earning a high school diploma and then a B.S. from Kenyatta University.

In July of 1997 he came to the United States where he furthered his education by earning a Masters Degree from Columbia University. He became a respected chemistry teacher at The Masters School, where he is leading the school in integrating computers into the curriculum, but he hasn’t forgotten about his home country. In 2001 he officially founded the Help Kenya Project to alleviate poverty in Kenya and help youth succeed. He continues to run the project, which is growing quickly, to this date.
